The concept of creativity is not only related to good, or great, ideas, but it is usually a method to lead a company, or to manage a business.

A creative mind with a creative approach supports companies to face future challenges by non conventional ways, by simply enhancing ideas that can leverage simplicity towards the increased complexity that arose in these last years especially in the high-tech and b2c markets.

Logo for free or for a fee?

Unfortunately and too often in our job we have discovered how a professional logo is underestimated. People does not really understand the big importance a logo has, and also how much work, know-how, resources and time is needed to create an effective brand mark.

Logo must be immediately recognized by customers and even competitors. Has to inspire trust, admiration, loyalty and an implied superiority. The logo is a very important aspect of a company’s public and internal exposure, and its shapes, colours, fonts and images usually must be unique compared to others in the same field.

Sometimes, actually often, we would like to clone ourselves, to have some identical copies to be able to do everything we want, but we can’t because of tight schedules. An example: you have to finish a project, your customers are calling you every 10 minutes, you have to read 5 articles and 2 books, you have to write a blog post, listen to a lecture and finally go home and live your private life. I know, it seems impossible to manage, and actually it is. Or at least is a matter of organization, in order to schedule your tasks. Time is a precious asset. It’s definitely a scarce resource, and we have to optimize it in the best way possible.

Creative Big Bang

What’s the origin of creativity? How does it come out? There are specific situations that can help us in this process?
Answering to these questions is not easy, and probably impossible. Because creativity has a lot to do with personal. Each one has his own creativity, and there are no universal rules and any magic formula that is common for everyone.

What can I do is to tell you about my experience, and describe what are the best conditions, for me, to be creative.
It’s necessary to do an introduction about creativity in general. I think there is a part of it which is innate, another part is based on knowledge, how well and deep you know your area.
Assuming that all these preparatory conditions are satisfied, we can find some helpful situations which can support us in being crative, and have brillant ideas.

Fear & Skepticism in Social Media

The same “old” question. Is it useful to promote our own small business through Social Media? This is more and more a recurrent question. There are a lot of small entrepreneurs that are skepctical about this subject, and someone is even afraid of it.

We are persuaded that is defenitely useful to have a presence on these media , but only if we use these tools in an appropriate way. Not only in order to be there, but trying to deliver a message which is coherent with the corporate identity. Or when we talk about very small businesses, the approach to a Social Media can be more informal, giving informations directly to customers, building with them a relation and sometimes even be funny.
